First, I ascertain whether or not I can take action to ease my anxiety. After that, I might revert to nervous habits such as eating, pacing, talking too much, making phone calls, checking facts, staying awake, and making a nuisance of myself.

Analyze why i feel nervous and work through it one step at a time until i don't feel i have anything to be nervous about. I also apply lavender to my wrist and/or burn essential oils :)
