Most web spinning type spider's territory is as large as their web. Now they may travel a good distance from where they hatched to the place they are now, and they may pack up and move on if the hunting is no good, but by and large their 'territory' is their web. Many species of spider upon hatching will send up a parachute web/strand to catch the breeze then it is luck and wind that decides how far they travel.
