Be sure to clear the harddrive of any personal data. The best way to do that is if you have the disc with operating system on it, format the drive and reinstall the OS.

Computers aren't good on resale value seeing as how by the time you're done with it it's several generations out of date. Maybe a better idea is to hold onto it for data processing and older games you might still want to play.
