  • While it is unfair that there is ridiculous societal pressure for men to remain completely stoic and unmoved even in the face of great loss or pain, people still have the choice to make up their own mind about how they live their lives. If you feel like crying, then cry. I think you will find that most women appreciate a man who isn't emotionally bankrupt and who can express his feelings without buying into the insane "real men don't cry" notion. My partner cried when our twins were born - he also cried when his 8 year old cousin was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. It would be terrible for any man to feel that he couldn't cry under such circumstances.
  • I'm a man and when it comes to expelling feelings of sorrow crying is a very viable option for me. I think I'm more emotional in that regard than my wife is.
  • I am against the idea of men not crying.. Men are flesh and belood and they have feelings. A man has all the right to cry.. and that does not make him less of a man..
