  • I'm a social work major in college and I work with people with psychosocial problems who all live in group homes. I don't know a lot about it, but I'd say first of all, know some of the policies and requirements to do so. Also, see if you can visit some other group homes and their owners and see how they started. They can let you know how to go about getting one started in your particular location as it varies state to state and country to country. Good luck! we need good, caring group homes.
