The pharmaceutical companies would develop a vaccine that would get rid of the Ebola, but give you genital herpes or schizophrenia or something equally uncurable in its place.

Initially the answer would be to throw money at it. I'm not sure how effective this would be however. No matter how much money an enterprise has, it also needs people working in the field who can use this money. I'm not sure there are enough people qualified in the sort of knowledge we would need to soak up and use this kind of money effectively. So, we'd all be dooooooomed.

Ebola can be transmitted through airborne contact. It's just not very efficient at doing so. And there is a vaccine. It just isn't very good at treating the disease beyond the earliest stages.

If I were the president and a biolevel 4 disease made an appearance on Earth, I would nuke the origin and any possible contact points. Fortunately even Ebola that transmits as effectively airoborne as the rhinovirus wouldn't be a biolevel 4 agent because it's gestations period is extremely short meaning that symptoms tip off the presense of the disease very quickly.
