About 3 years. We used to have a horse ranch and raised them for many years. We sold off all the stock and several old timers died so we came to NY without any of them.

Hmmmm. When I was little we used to go to the park when they had stables, and I'd sit on a horse and sort of be led around for ten minutes then get off. And go into what always seemed like an old ladies living room, and pick a helmet out of this huge basket thing. If that counts as riding a horse, then about ten years.

It's been 3 years almost for me...I grew up with horses and miss it terribly. It's a part of who I am. I miss the barn smell and the hay. It's a great life...horses. =)
