I'm fairly cynical, but I think they both care and think they know what's best for the country. I just so happen to think that one is a bit more out of touch, so he means well but won't deliver what is needed.

Sure they do... while they're trying to get votes, that is. Once the whole shit is over, they would've already forgotten that America exists.

I believe to some extent they both care. However, it's obvious to me which one is the most out of touch with the everyday americans... and he is the one not getting my vote.

I suspect they both do, but I KNOW Senator Obama does. He could have easily earned a good living in the private sector, but he opted for public service instead.
