  • I lived in a Mormon community, my mother was also an RN. Apparently more Mormon women were on antidepressant medication than any other group. Could their "tradition" of female inferiority (I know they don't phrase it that way, but in actuality that's how life is played out), result in these women being depressed? I think so. Is taking pills to resolve life circumstance pathological? Maybe
  • I would have to assume so, because what you do affects how you feel, in many cases even if you don't know any better.

  • of couse if you are raised around anything wrong and nobody tells you that it is not normal you will grow up thinking whatever it was acceptable in society
