    Because parts of North Jersey are a suburb of New York City and parts of South Jersey are a suburb of Philadelphia.

    Because all the best jobs are in NJ and parts of the state are suburbs of both NYC and Philly. In addition, it's the third smallest State

    Because it's full of immigrants who call in cousins and relatives, and indians & pakis tend to kinda.. stick with a hole in the wall and never move because they are too scared to. First hand expeirence, i speak from :) lol

    because it's cheaper to live there than new york city, but you can still work in new york city while living there.
