I wanna get my tongue pierced, would that change the way people (guys mainly) look at me and think of me? I just want it for myself i think it looks cool.

If you really want to get your tongue pierced (and assuming you are at an age where you can decide for yourself or have your parent's permission.) Then perhaps you should go ahead and go for it. Some people will not approve of it, some will be apathetic about it and some, like you, will think it's cool. But this is about you and your body, so make changes for yourself, not for others. But I would also consider if you *really* want to have the piercing. Is it really that cool to you? Will you want it as time goes on? If you're really into it, perhaps you should go ahead and do it.
