No. AB Staff look at flagged questions and answers and either approve or reject the flags, and only then do we reject or modify the question or answer that was flagged. If your flag is approved, you will receive your moderation points. If a flag is rejected, your point values stay the same, but if we feel you are abusing the flagging system, we may deduct points from your total.

My apology to the AB-staff for posting this question: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/932875 *Please note ... it was not a stunt to aquire points for myself or anyone else ... It was merely a test to understand the generosity of others. But I now see and understand why it was rejected >>> Sorry about that :)

I think this is the first time I'm going to answer a question posted by the staff :) No, it's not automatically removed/changed. If that were the case, Answerbag would become one chaotic website, with users flagging one another like hell. All users can flag questions and answers that they think don't adhere to some of Answerbag's terms of use. However, the staff reviews the flags submitted to them, and approves the flags that they think are correct. By the way, a user who submits too many false flags can be sent to the Penalty Box.

That would depend on how it was flagged. If it is offensive, they will delete it. If it is in the wrong category, they will move it. If is a duplicate, it gets merged with the original askers question.
