I give myself a days break usually so I can process and reflect on the book. then I pick up the new one
-
I grab a book when I'm near the end of the one I'm reading generally.
-
Um, I didn't know reading books made me a psycho. If I'm not busy and I have interesting books available, about two minutes.
-
It usually depends on the proximity to my books. Sometimes immediately, sometimes the next day. I have about 30 books sitting ready to read. Sometimes I read two at a time (not simultaneously). I
-
By the way, calling people who like to read "psycho" was for amusing emphasis, I don't actually think you're all crazy. Phooey.
-
I quite often read books with an historical background and something will spark an interest about a particular person, event or era, so I nearly always get another book from the library on a related topic to continue the theme.
-
It varies. Sometimes I finish one book and jump right into another one. Other times, if a book has a deep impact on me or really makes me think, I need to take a bit of time to reflect on it and let it sink in before I tackle something else.
-
Depends on whether or not I went to the library recently. Of course, pretty soon here, I'll be rather busy with homework, and I probably won't be able to spare time for books.
-
i normally start one up again right away...unless i'm in a rut and can't find anything good to read :(
-
I have been known to read three at once
-
I'm not a bigtime bookworm but.. i start withing 2 days. It takes me a while to finish reading them anyways :/
-
It depends. Most of the time I am reading more than one at a time anyway.
-
Right away! I usually have the next book already picked out and waiting.
-
i have my next one lined up when im half way through
-
about 2 minutes. I don't feel comfortable unless I'm "into" a book.
-
LOl, Sometimes I am reading two books at a time.
-
I usually have the next book waiting. If I don't have a book with me I feel like I am missing an arm.
-
I have a few running at the same time.
-
i read a couple at a a time and usually while im browsing the library yes i still use the library lol or in walden or bns ill see something else i like and pick that up for later
-
there are some books I read more than once. Read Frankenstein like 3 times and Dracula I think twice. I wait til i find something that interest me.
-
depends the book I've finished reading. if it was light - then will go onto another book immediately. If it was heavy, thought provoking, a few days. I tend to line books up just as I'm getting to the end of current book. Also, I tend to re-read classics after current books. (did that make sense???)
-
I begin the next book two or three days later, usually.
-
I often have another book waiting in the wings or I'm reading more than 2-3 books at one time so I just go from one to the other and add another very soon.
-
I always have 1 or more in reserve. If not, I get anxious. Start reading the next as soon as I finish.
-
I have a pile of books waiting to be read and i start the next as soon as i finish one.i always have a book on the go.

When it was Asimov's "Robot" or "Foundation" series then it before I deeply gasped for a fresh breath of air. Included in that context would be Roger Zelazny's "Amber" series. :)
