Contact your regulatory agency and ask.

Quick answer is no (desirable but not required - keep in mind that there is a fair amount of math in the courses / tests so if you don't have high school diploma or equivalent, you might have a hard time)

the question indicates that you are going to school.in that case the H.S.D.would be very helpful later. i've known people with a college degree that failed the real estate exam in new york. even though you need just under 80% to pass.

I don't think you need any prerequisites to be a real estate agent. That seems to be the way it is in Maryland anyway.

Get the damne diploma anyway. Real estate is already just a field for wash outs.

If you owned a firm where million dollar and hundreds of thousands of dollars are at hand, do you really want a High School dropout handling these deals? I would suggest getting the High School Diploma. Honestly, if I found out my agent didn't pass High School I would not use him. Can you imagine the disasterous results by letting a High School drop out handle one of the most important purchases of your life. Sorry, no way am I going to have a high school drop out handle that.
