If you give plus ratings for answers to opinion-based questions you agree with, do you give negative ratings for those you don't? Why or why not?

I think negative feedback should be reserved for people who write opinions that do not make sense or detract from the value of AnswerBag. Dont give negative ratings because you dont agree, give them for vulgarity or non-sense.

I try very hard not to down rate based on opinion, despite just how difficult some people make it. The only opinion ones I have rated down, I did after asking them follow up questions to defend their stance and them not being able to. It is pretty rare though.

No... Because EVERYONE'S entitled to their opinion... No matter how stupid or wrong it is. (<--That last part is a joke, ya know!) ;-)
