If you really want to breed them, (and I would think twice about that as there are so many unwanted pets in the world, too many in rescue and fixing them makes them happier, healthier and better pets) Then you will place the doe in the buck's cage and not the other way around. But they must not live together. He could breed her at any time, even already pregnant as does have two horn of their uterus and can carry two litters of different ages at the same time. Plus he could easily kill th babies or she could fight with him if she doesn't want to be bred by him. Only if two rabbits of either or same sex are neutered and spayed, can they live together. Rabbits are territorial and may fight, plus they will breed constantly. And if your rabbits are related, they should never be bred at all or the kits could be deformed, stillborn or carry genetic defects.
