What's the longest time you've gone without socializaing?

4 days. I decided once to stay at an apartment at college rather then go home for fall break. My roommate was out the whole time and I never left the apartment. I didn't see or hear a single living person that whole 4 days.

2 day tops... I need to socialize to someone everyday I think... But I can take a lot of days without speaking to my friends but with my nuclear family it's impossible... One day I would like to test how many days I can handle without communicating with no one...

I have gone off by myself for up to a week, but I cannot say that i have gone more than a day without at least a telephone conversation.

If I go into one of my isolating spells, someone always comes and drags me back into some semblance of life. I suppose the longest was about a week in my 20's. Then one of my Kwanmates came a'knocking on the door and told me that he was hauling my *ss to the Dojang. I did and it fixed me right up.

Two years without a conversation. I kept looking for people to talk with, but everyone was just too busy. What would it take for people to stop and spend twenty minutes? I dunno. I don't consider "Have a nice day" with a grocery clerk to be socializing. I need a little ... something more like a genuine conversation.
