What is stronger the love you feel for someone or the fact that you are used to eachother and thats what keeps you together?

Love is a choice...not always a "feeling". We can choose to love someone or not...IMHO, people depend too much on "feelings", if I went on my feelings all the time, I'd probably be in jail. Besides, if you choose to love, you find that you WILL love.

Becoming used to being with each other is not the thing that keeps you together. Being used to being with somebody is familiarity and not necessarily love.

This is one of those chicken & egg questions...which came first? I love my wife. Love keeps us together. We are used to each other and keep together because we are used to each other. We keep together because we love each other. So the answer is "both"... in my case. But yes, it is true that many stay together out of default rather than continual choice.
