  • Because it seems like common sense you wouldn't create an answer that was duplicate/ nonsense/ wrong catagory/ spam/ offensive and then want it taken down I suppose
  • It's like rating yourself, and it's all tied in together so nobody can do anything to their answer by way of flags or ratings. You could also create a huge ess by answering, then marking them as spam, etc. The Ab staffers don't have the time tolook at all the legitimate ones, let alone those created by someone who thinks it is fun to flag their own replies. Others will do that for you.
  • Well, if one wanted to boost his/her AB score they could post a bunch of nonsensical questions then flag each of those for 5 pts apiece.
  • Yeah, what boredasmustard said. And you get 5 points for flagging a question if the moderator agrees with what you flagged it for. So, people could write 5 nonsense questions per hour and flag them all just to get the 25 points.
  • Common sense.
