They could also do them for babies that are learning to walk:-)

It's only "too far" when you make the furnishing and use of them mandated by building codes, clothing, appliance and furniture makers, rather than an optional thing that people could purchase and use for themselves and their families if they found them to be necessary, useful and reasonably priced.

Awesome idea. The elderly suffer from far too many unnecessary injuries - broken knees and hips - I'd like to see an end to that.

Taking things too far???? How in the world can you think that? Do you have any idea the injuries the elderly suffer from falls. Kudos for Japan!!

hello, oh,really? my 90 year old mother couldve used on of those a year ad a half ago,maybe she wouldnt be in the condition shes in now!
