Yes, in failing.
-
You have succeeded in one thing and suceeded in trying the others.
-
It depends if what you're doing is worth failing 9 times to get 1 success. If I play the lottery 10 times and only win once, yeah that's a success to me. If I try to pull each finger out from under a guillotine and only succeed once, I'm 9 fingers short and feel more like a failure.

I feel if you fail 9,999 times in 10,000, you succeed.
-
It depends. If the event has a probability of succeeding of 0.10 (10%), then perhaps the tenth try can give you a success; however, it also depends on systematic error....meaning, maybe you are not succeeding because your method is consistently wrong or can be tweaked. I believe in continuous efforts and trying not to give up as much as you can. If it is something that you really really want to do, go for it. Don't let failure stop you, but teach you what you can do better the next time so that the probability of failing will decrease. :) hope this helps.

It only takes once to succeed no matter how many times you fail.
-
Sure. You've succeeded because you kept trying, 10 times. Success is measured all kinds of ways, but the most important measure is how you use the accomplishment or the failed attempts. Did all the failed attempts teach you something you can use? Did the achieved accomplishment give you a foundation for the next goal? Either way, as long as you keep going forward, it's success.
-
yes, because you didn't fail every single time leaving you with at least one victory. so you must be able to suceed at one point and time :-)

Thomas Edison tried not quite ten thousand different ways to make an incandescent light, but he was convinced it was possible and he lit up the world. Does this answer your question? The difference between a winner and a loser is that a loser gets knocked down and stays down. The winner keeps getting up.
-
Yes....don't you remember "The Little Giants"...All it takes is once.
-
It depends. If you've failed the first nine and succeeded the tenth, then yes. If you succeeded first and failed the last nine, then no.
-
If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Remember, the sole purpose of your life could be to serve as a warning to others. www.despair.com Alternatively, no life is a complete failure, you can always serve as a bad example.

Yes. "Results? Why, man, I have gotten lots of results! If I find 10,000 ways something won't work, I haven't failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is often a step forward....". Thomas Edison.
