Drugs definitely have the power to destroy a marriage because they alter the way one perceives things, and also how one reacts emotionally to certain circumstances.

I am a newly wed and I luv my husband with more than I dreamed possible but he often takes flukes and doesn't come home till late with no money no gas and it takes us tooth and nail to scrap up enough to make it by. litterly pennies. Tonight I had a feelin he didn't look right and guess what? He took off to getto town to buy rock. I so tired of the repeat patterns.. I know if he is not going to use it will be tomorrow or the next day or the next week. Its only a matter of time. I know he loves me but his addiction controls him. I have seen him cry over it and say he hates it and that he wants a normal drug free life with me. I am 31 and he is too. I am tooo old to be goin thru this term oil. I am so tired and know I should throw in the towel cause I will learn to get over him. Should I con't to fight this battle? I think he should want better for himself.
