I went for a walk in the park with my love! It was feeling like Autumn the 5th of september. Moscow, Russia is cold! I miss my home town, Miami, FL!!!!

We call it Fall and I don't think I'm going to do anything special, just sit on AB a bit before I go to the store. :)

I'm in the Midwest and most of us call it fall. Hubby and I will be going to the park tonight to have dinner under the slowly changing trees.

I live in Southern California. I call it Fall, and on the first day, I go and fill up my 2 propane tanks that belong to the BBQ and the outside patio heater.

its called Fall. the imported tree's leaves fall. the palm trees just keep palming, no falling. the evenings will get chillier. sweater weather. it is still summer basically. and will be right into January if it doesnt rain. Winter begins withthe first rain. and then it gets cold. Once it didnt rain until February. we went into drought status. But it was great weather. I live in Edmonton, Canada, quite northerly for a capital city. I call it Fall, and on the first day of Fall I went out and gave all the trees around my property a good thorough watering. It's called "watering in", and when you live in a place where the winter lasts 5 months and the average temperature is around minus 30 Celsius, it's important that the ground is well-watered and "frozen" so that the trees don't dry out come spring. The trees' roots literally have to be surrounded by an "ice ball" to get through winter safely. If there is no ice around the roots, the trees suffer "wind burn" in the spring and often die.

I'm in Québec, Canada, and while it doesn't look like Autumn yet, not really, it's cold as hell and I enjoy it. I've come to call it Fall because most English people call it this way, though being French, Autumn seems a lot more appropriate for me. And I didn't do anything.

B.C. Canada. Northern. Left the house this morning at 8 am to get a tooth pulled at the dentist and had to scrape ice off the wind shield. -2 Celsius. The day turned out nice and sunny. +14c. Fall.

Not even noticing it. The high today was 91F. If we are lucky we will start feeling fall temps around mid November. I spend all of the Fall season being homesick, I miss Autumn in New England. I grew up using both words.
