  • the answer is not to get rid of the dog. You need to seperate them for a bit. show both of them the same amount of attention, the 3 year old is feeling jealous and neglected you have to remember he/she feels that this new pup is invading her home, shes just showing whos boss lol. Try and keep them seperate and play with each the same show them the same affection and eventually the older pup will see they are equal
  • Do you separate them when something happens or do you show your child the correct way to behave? I would make sure to correct the behavior if it were me, if you're already doing that then I'm all out of ideas.
  • Your child is being mean/cruel to an animal. Sounds like you need to step up to the plate and set up some serious consequences for such terrible behavior. I can't even comprehend why you would ask how you can stop a 3yr old from doing something bad. If you don't know by now no wonder the child is acting like a little brat. Do you have control of your child or not? If not, and you are unwilling to change, then give the puppy up for the sake of the pup. Hate to see your kid in it's teenage yrs thou...
