What hairdresser told you that... I have always found Pantene to be excellent products,their "ice shine" shampoo and conditioner are second to none,some of the best on the market. Perhaps because it is not an expensive "salon only" product other hairdressers knock it.

Thats all utter nonsense. Pantene is extremely bad for your hair, it coats your hair in silicone. Ditch it and do your research. Any good hairdresser will not be simply trying to make a sale but will give you genuinely good advice for your hair. Listen to them, they ought to know.

I actually have used pantene for 15 years and I swear by it...I wash my hair at least once a day sometimes twice if I work out or go out at night....I love it.
