This could also be true for me in this formulation: when I am reading news, I often guess from the first few words of the headline which issue is addressed and often decide out of this information if I am going to read the rest. In this case, I read also the rest of the headline. Because Answerbag questions are often somewhat long and not so written as a headline, I probably need to read a little more than just two words to decide if I am interested by the question. For instance, in the present case, I had certainly to read more than the first two words. And just because the question made sense only when you dropped those two words, I found it interesting.
