To those who have been here a long time; Do you find that you are slowing down in your paticipation on the site? If you are, what is the reason for this?

I've been an ABer for 18 1/2 months. My participation has been inconsistent. There have been weeks recently when I have spent less than 10 hours total and some that I have spent over 25 hours.

It varies, mostly depending on the questions of the moment. I'm certainly not sick of over here, but a lot of the excitement from when it was new for me is gone.

I don't know if it's true or not, but I find there's a lot more nonsense now. But, maybe it's just after all this time, I'm noticing it more. So, I've been kinda off and on lately, looking for good questions. Tired of the stupid ones. Like the creative ones.

mine has slowed down a lot. I used to answer at least 30-40 a day and now, I might do 10 on a good day. The questions here lately seem to be a lot of nonsense and repeats. Not really a lot of interesting qustions that i want to answer. I might find 1 good question an hour. In the last few days whenever I do answer a question, someone ALWAYS has a rude comment about it or DRs it.even on the non political things so I have lost a lot of interest in AB

I haven't been here for a long time, but yes I'm slowing down, because AB has changed since I joined, and I don't like what it's becoming.

My participation varies according to my mood and then according to the questions. *quiet blues playing in the background* I recently experienced a dark night of the soul and had no time for this site. But things are bright and sunny now, so I'm back.

I haven't found as many questions that I'm interested in answering. When I first started on AB in January 2006 there seemed to be more substantive questions.

No, I'm not slowing, though some of my habits have changed. For example, I don't moderate heavily anymore. It still feels like Day One for me.

No. My interaction on AB ebbs and flows with the time I have available..nothing else impacts me. Whether people leave..if someone has it "in" for me..if I find dialog with certain members to be counterproductive..I stay and play every day if I can.

I'm coming up for 2 months now,I still retain a bit of enthusiasm...but it waining some.

yes i do. back in 2006 i was on all the time, majorly addicted. but now i sparsely go on (compared to before)
