It may be, but the last two were also quite close—each came down to one state. Of course, if you look at the popular vote, the 1960 election was the closest: Kennedy beat Nixon by 0.1%, and it took until noon the next day to figure out who really won. Either way, it’s gonna be another crazy one!

Alot of the same issues exist that existed in the past re processing of absentee ballots, non-citizen voting, hanging chads, etc. Many states are very close. I think it will be a mess.

This election will make Reagan vs Mondale look close. The Democratic party is so splintered the only people who will vote for Obama will be African Americans (some) the Gay community, and The Liberal Drones our wonderful college system produces. And these people voted for Kerry too and Bush won by a good margine. The economy will rebound eventually even if it crashes like the great depression. Maybe we need another great depression to teach Americans to live within their means! What can not be questioned is our National Security, and here is where most people when they get into the voting booth will start to sweat...McCain strong military...Obama bring all the troops home and let the terrorists regroup and bring down some more buildings, Then Liberal Democrates will fly the American flag for a couple of weeks and say bring our boys home for God's sake those rebles with out a cause should be thankfull that there are enough brave men and women willing to go over there and take the fight to those F&ckers so wanna be Americans can be safe and hate America like Michael Moore.

It is not even going to be close. The corporate media wants another quasi-Conservative in office, so they have to spin it that way. Mark my words.

Im going to have to say the exact opposite of what Matthew said.
