Not a lot other than size I guess, their all predators.

I don't know...I am petrified of birds....and I don't like reading about them or looking at them.

They have numerous differnces in anatomy and outer appearance, but to name them here, i'd have to write half a book and i'm tooo lazy to do that now. :P

They are all designed to hunt different types of prey. A hawk is designed like an air to ground missile, depending on the bird it can hunt anything from mice, to large mammals like rabbits and hares. A falcon is designed like an air to air missile, they have weak feet but are able to make quick maneuvers in the air so that they can catch other birds. Eagles are very generalized in comparison to hawks and falcons. They can hunt just about anything, from scavenging, to fish, to very large prey, like the Roe Deer, which is hunted by Golden Eagles.

Here is a link that shows the differences. I started typing it all out, then realized that I couldn't answer the whole Q properly, so looked it up. This link explains better than I ever could have. www.hawkridge.org/education/edstaff/RIF_ID_sheet.pdf It will open for you as a PDF file...

I think its basically their food choice. They all fly and have talons, so food would be it.
