  • Its normal everyone gets it.. you cant really do much about it .. just rub it it should get better ..
  • I've always associated "the twitch" to stress. My twitch seems to come when I'm working on deadline. Try keeping a "twitch" diary -- maybe certain kinds of stress trigger it for you. The diary can help you narrow it down -- or you can just use the twitch as a signal to stop, take a few deep breaths, and relax for a minute or two.
  • This is bascially a muscle spasm of the eyelid. It can happen when you are overly tired or stressed. If it continues I would see an eye specialist to rule out any conditions.
  • I have a twitch under my eye and my face! It started under the left, progressed to above the eye as well. Then went to the right eye...sometimes together..sometimes both above and below twitching so fast I can barely watch tv or see a thing..it's ridiculous!! Then as the stress got worse in my life, the left side of my face all the way down to my mouth above and below it started twitching!! It's insane! People will be like, do you know your eye is twitching or your entire face is twitching!! It is so embarrassing!! The more stressed you are the worse it becomes. My left eye twitched non stop for at least 8 good months w/o ever stopping at all. I was going through some really awful stuff. I got away from it, got rest and it all finally started to go away!!! It was fabulous. Now when I am stressed, or just overly tired, something on my face twitches to tell me and everyone else what is going on. Most often the place it all started, the left eye, underneath. Now I have more wrinkles there than I should have for my age..LOL. I am 38 now and this all started when I was 35. You can ask doctors, they will tell you just what I have, stress. Botox will deaden the muscles and you will droop, not a good choice. So, please don't think about that one. Twitching is better than drooping. Just do things for yourself to relax and listen to what your body is trying to tell you. It totally sucks for sure because not everyone else wears their stress on their faces. There is nothing wrong w/you at all. You just have a lot of stress going on and you just have to give yourself some time to relax. Go to one of those Healing Hands and get a massage, the best thing in the world!! I'm thinking of it doing that right now..my left eye hasn't quit for 3 days now! Good luck, you're not alone out there. I feel your pain, trust me I do. When someone tells you again "you're twitching"...just say Oh really...or tell them to go F themselves..LOL. I just play dumb, it's easier now it's happened so often. Take care.
  • calm down. its a nerve, thats all i get them all the time. i usually massage under my eye, or on my temples. or use hot packs, hot packs dialate the blood vessel to get blood flowing through. it helps me.
  • Perhaps get you eyes checked as I think I read that twitching could be a sign that your glasses are the wrong prescription or you may need glasses.
  • Due to glasses or spasm, check it out or cleaned with cold tea
  • Tiredness is the most likely answer - so rest your eyes, or get some sleep. Otherwise, you may need an eye test because your eyes are working harder than usual and tiring themselves out.
  • mii left eye always twitches && its really annoying at the best of times when your trying to do something so simple... ii had it checked out its the muscles in mii eye having a spasm. the eye person said its quite normal && half the time brought on by stress, or being over tired.
  • I am no expert but try rehydrate ur eyes and have a nap, maybe it will go away.
