  • Neither. I don't like buying into (no pun intended) the commercialism of the holidays. Giving gifts is always akward. Recieving gifts is as well. It's not what its about so I could care less.
  • To give (no matter what it is, unless it is a haircut or something I cannot do for myself or the other person).
  • Giving. I don't care if that sounds like a lie, or corny, or whatever. It is much more fun to see the reaction of someone who opens my gift. I don't care as much what they get me, as long as it is thoughtful - besides the fact that no one is obligated to think of me anyway.;)
  • Christmas has never seemed the same since my father died around Christmas when I was ten. I dreaded Christmas every year until I had my first child. Then, seeing how excited he got, gave Christmas meaning again. So I would have to say: GIVING! Afterall, I am old enough to buy anything I want for myself. But with as little as $100.00 worth of plastic crap, a kid can believe they are rich as kings!
  • I like to give..recieving isn't that important to me..i could get nothing and still be happy. I just like everyone else to be happy, and have a great time.
  • I enjoy giving, it's makes me feel more complete that I have the ability to help people. Recieving's nice too but I have hard time taking to much.
  • To give. Coheed's "not buying into the commercialism" is a sad excuse. I give of my time to help those less fortunate than I. I do it year round, but step it up a notch for the holiday season. Making life better for someone else is always a pleasure and always rewarding. Not "akward" in the least.
  • i like to give. making people happy is fun. haha. the commercialism doens't bother me too much...its become a part of christmas every where. the whole santa clause came about from saint nick who gave presents or coal or blah blah we know the story...but i think its a time to really appreciate the things you have and the people around you...and its not a big deal to not get anything. atleast for me...i just like seeing people happy.
  • I like both. In balanced amounts.
  • When younger i always liked to receive more. Now i am older and wiser with kids and it is much more fun to give and see the pleasure derived by others.
  • Giving. I am crap at recieving anything. Gifts, compliments, anything.
