Can someone please explain what Hope and Change meen? Obama can't seem to explain it.

Hope and change mean that the country is in a terrible mess brought on by the current administration.He is saying to vote for the republicans assures us of no change or hope,and the same old thinking will remain as the economy dissolves.Any form of new thinking is better than what we have now or what McCain has to offer.This change happens all the time.Without changes in thinking we would still think the earth was flat.
