I haven't seen him in a lot; not that he's not in a lot, it's just that I haven't seen movies with him. As a kid, I watched Matilda. I really didn't like him (his character); I didn't hate him as much as the evil teacher (or was she a principle) but still. And I guess, since he conviced me he was mostly evil, he's a very good actor!

Even tho' I don't know him and would NEVER form a definite opinion of the kind of guy he is (without meeting him), I have always gotten a kind of "sleazy" vibe about him. I hope I'm wrong, but I would have to say that NO, I don't like his acting, so far.

As an actor, yes, can't forget his role in ruthless people or romancing the stone.. among other movies...

I like him. One of my favorite movies with him in it is "Rain Maker" A very good movie.
