  • The best reaction is to try to get things worked out within the offuce first. Talk with the person performing said unethical deeds first. They might not even reralize the extent to which their actions are inappropriate. Then, if that is to no avail, take it up the ladder to your boss. If he does nothing, or is a part of the problem, or if you feel like your job might be put at risk in case of a confrontation, then it is appriopriate to call the ethics line. On and off the job, the best way of dealing with what wrong you see being done (or conflict in general) is to go directly to the source of the probelem and work your way up from there.
