  • I don't know why some idiot downrated this. It's a legitimate question. You know they probably can. Employers seem to be able to do whatever they want. My last job, the maintenance techs do a lot of driving. If they use their own personal vehicle they can put in for mileage. Personally, I think your employers are cheap bastards who should pay you for your travel time.
  • As long as you are still on the clock and getting paid for it, then yeah. I would enjoy the drive myself. I have worked at places that they didn't pay you for a break if you wanted a break you had to clock out to take one, now I don't think that is fair.
