Chicken or shrimp alfredo with broccoli and baby carrots, spaghetti, Macaroni and tomatoes, lazagna, and a wide variety of tuna hot dishes.
-
chicken spaghetti

Would cook the pasta. Transfer it to a skillet and add butter (lots) chopped onion and tomato. Serve with french bread.

I've done this a few times. I boil the pasta, then as it's boiling I just look around and see what would be good in it - olive oil, olives, Italian spices, tomatoes, whatever. Sometimes the kids eat this type of thing even more enthusiastically than when we open up a jar of spaghetti or Alfredo sauce.

Here's what we are having for dinner tonight. I am cooking the pasta according to the instructions on the box. Then I am stirring in a package of reduced fat cream cheese and about two table spoons full of Mrs Dash seasoning. I will add chopped onions, garlic and tomatoes. I will then cook for about three minutes in the microwave and toss with cooked asparagus and cooked, sliced sausages.

Could make a whole bunch of things. I do have some spinich so I would start with that and make a salad dressed with vinegette blue cheese and some old cherry tomatoes. For soup, I make a great french onion. Got all the ingedients for that. For the pasta part, I have ground meat for plain old meatballs or I could do venison in a wok with peppers and onions and throw that on top of the pasta. Only have bottled red sauce for it. And I've got a nice bottle of Chianti to go with it. For desert I've got some bourbon pecan pie which I froze a few months ago (I made it) Want to come over?:)
