depends on if you pull a hammy.... ;) probably is excercise if you move around alot... like if you're a woman riding a bull with a vibe attached to it. but if you don't move around a lot you're just getting the blood flowing more. I'm sure it's as much exercise as sex if you are using a realdoll... those would be like having sex with a person that doesn't move... since they weigh the same and stuff.

It is exercise, i would switch hands regularly though. Big muscle on one arm and a whimpy other arm. Could give you away.
