Is Cassiel A good or bad angel?

Kaziel is a fallen angel who felt pity on Adam and Eve and gave them his journal of God's sayings, but he was forgiven by God for doing that---in Jewish lore. I do not know about the character from he TV show 'Supernatural'. From the initial appearance they seem to depict him the way angels really are--even the good ones are something to be scared of.

With a name like that, how could anyone afford to be good? Can you just imagine the beatings on the school yard over that name? Woo hoo...I'm glad it ain't me!
