The out side of the purse is leather the inside of the purse is lined in suede.

You can try using a small amount of decreasing soap, like Dawn dish soap (especially if it's a small spot). Rub it in and rinse with a small amount of water. If it's a big spill and the oil and water seep all the way through, it will never be the same. If you aren't set on the outside leather color, you can get the whole purse wet to clean it better with the soap, but the resulting color may be darker and the leather stiffer from getting wet. Jump inside it, spin around and absorb as much of that oil as you can onto your skin. Climb back out. You should be good to go.

Use it as a body glove, this way you will not waste the oil and will exfoliate as you lubricate

well im sorry to say it but you are going to have to get a new purse because suede is hard to clean
