NRAM is short for nano-RAM and is a new technology using carbon nano-tubes rather than current capacitor based DRAM chips. The advantages of NRAM are: it does not require power to maintain data; it will have a longer lifespan (read/write) than NVRAM(flash); it should be cheaper to produce; it will allow for denser chips (more data space in the same physical space)
