When I was a child, from age 1-11, I sucked my thumb all the time. It's an emotional issue mostly. Yes me two front top teeth are slightly askew. I chalk it up to thumb sucking. You may not have a drastic movement in teeth but you will get some movement. I am sorry now that I didn't stop the habit or at least have them corrected later, but they aren't really that bad.

It can but depends how much you suck your thumb. Letting kids have a dummy until a ridiculous age (like over 4 ) can also cause buck teeth.
