  • The rule of half: For you to travel any distance, you must first travel half the distance. Essentially, any amount of space can be devided into units, and those units devided into smaller units. A kilometre into metres, metres into centimetres, centimeters into milimetres, and smaller and smaller. no matter how small it gets, it can keep getting smaller. 1/2=.5, .5/2=.25, .125, .5125, .25125, .125125, .5125125, etc. this means that there are an infinite number of units in any amount of space. to traverse an infinite number of units is to trvel through infinity, which would take forever, so the first move you ever made, you would have to still be making it. another way of explaining it is like this: The universe is infinite. and fraction of space in the universe is therefor a fraction of infinity. Infinity devided by anything equals infinity (the infinite units deal). so to move any through any space, is to move through a fraction of infinity, which is equal to... infinity.
  • To get from point A to point B, you first have to travel half the distance, then half of the new distance, then half of the new distance etc. So according to Zenos Paradox, travel is impossible because you can never truly reach point B.
