it's definetly a tie between life and monopoly for games i still play today but when i was younger i couldn't get enough of hi-ho cherry-o and hungry hungry hippos and yes if i still had them i would play them in a heartbeat rockem sockem robots is still a great game too!

Guess who. Where you have a load of pictures of people and you have to guess who the other person has by asking questions about their appearance. Of course now when we play it, we ask stupid questions like "Who looks like they cross-dress on weekends?" (Joe - he always looked wrong), "who would you not like to sleep with?" and "who looks like a serial killer?"

Carom board and chess. I still play carom with my nephew and nieces.

Chess until I was 9. Technically, BattleTech and Car Wars are board games too and I was still a kid when I fell in love with them. I still occasionally play all three.

I loved Scatagories when I was little and its still my favorite game today! but its not really a board game, Guess who, and clue, and also Mall Madness!

Risk. I don't think I'd play it anymore. Got tired of trying to "Rule the World". Now I just try to control my small piece of it.

I always enjoyed Trouble... I think that's the one with the popper in the middle that pops the dice for you. Greatest game in the world... until I became old enough to appreciate Monopoly.

Honestly my mom laughs at me, because she still catches me playing Pretty Pretty Princess!!! I love that game!

It's not really a 'board game' as such, but it was called 'Downfall'. It was for 2 players, and each player had 2 sets of coloured counters, numbered from 1 to 5. Players put their counters into the top of a 'frame', and had to move them through a series of wheels with slots in, down to the bottom of the frame, in sequence, before their opponent. I LOVED that game, and I'd definitely play it today. No - I want to play it NOW!!!!! JamesD ;-)

Mousetrap and Operation. I bought a new Mousetrap game a few years ago for my kids. It didnt seem the same. Not quite as big as I remembered, but neither do hostess pies. As for Operation, I play that ,the grown up version, when I do electrical work, I usually dont turn off the breaker.
