I don't think my family members would be very happy to see me listed as the expert in "atheism". They've all accepted that I'm an east coast liberal weirdo now and not coming back to the midwest and to my methodist/lutheran upbringing, and I'm pretty happy with that much progress... I keep quiet on the whole "no god" thing though. They don't really think to ask about it and I don't go bringing it up - rather not have them worrying over my eternal soul and whatnot. I think if they read some of my religious questions/answers it would lead to a straight-out scriptural intervention attempt and that could only end badly. *shudder* IRL I'll argue politics until the sun goes down but when it comes to religion I prefer to discuss with strangers on the internet. ;)

Probably all of them. They think all I do is coursework and revision

My answerbag account is HIGHLY confidential. HIGHLY.

My entire account would probably get me committed at a glance from my mum, or my dad for that matter, they're allways looking for an excuse.

The mere prodigiousness of my posts would cause my husband to walk out as he is our household domestic and I am always telling him "I'M BUSSSSSY. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO A LOAD OF LAUNDRY!"

Not really. I've given the link to my aunt and uncle and my cousins. I'm not sure they've read anything, but it's fine if they do. I approached Answerbag from the get-go assuming I'd better make sure I could live with my friends and family reading everything I wrote, and never thought about it since. I didn't really have to. I'm pretty much myself, whether it's here on the Bag; in a relationship; walking around in the mall; or talking to people. Course, I'm still waiting for my aunt to find out I'm an expert in the "Sexual Acts" category. This answer is subject to change. <grins>

No, but some of the questions are so gross that I'm probably going to change my login so my friends don't ask me "Why do you hang out in a chat room like THAT?"

I don't think that I've ever said anything here that my family hasn't already heard from my mouth... However, my parents live in a sweet state of denial that I used to love to upset when I was much younger, but anymore I think they are so great and in many ways I have really been blessed with the old folks.

Of course. Fortunatley, the closest I have to family is 800 miles away and they don't even know AB sxits I am sure.
