  • Hundreds! Six of our own seven dogs are rescues, but the majority are because our main business is selling 100% natural, chemical-free treatment kits for Canine Parvovirus that can be administered safely and effectively at home.
  • I have six dogs now that are all rescues and have fostered 3 and rehomed them in great new homes. Dogs are the most loyal friends. I love mine -they are wonderful!
  • One bird, one cat, two dogs, and about 100 crabs.
  • We have some chicken in the fridge. Seriously, I've never bought an animal. I either get them from the pound or I'll befriend a stray who wants a home. Puppy farms should be illegal.
  • Two from the pound, and they have been the best. It seems like they love you more because you sprung them from a bad situation
  • Over ten:D
  • A dog from the shelter, a stray cat, another dog the people bought and then not body wanted, an injured baby dove that the RSPCA refused to help but instead wanted to kill it because it is not native to the country. I didn't let them and nutured it back to health by myself.
  • Hundreds! birds; cats; dogs; a tiger; snakes; lizards; chicken; cow; bear; squirrel. You name it almost in North America and I have bee there!
  • Directly I would say six dogs, eight cats, guessing maybe five cows, eight pigs, over a hundred chickens, and over a hundred fish. Actually, my pig and cow estimates are probably really low. Saving lives feels good!
  • a couple really .
  • Too many to count. For many years my wife would bring home sick or pregnant cats from the local shelter in a foster care type situation. I can't tell you how many litters were born on MY SIDE of THE CLOSET. We have had as many as 30 cats tearing up the place. Right now we have eight permanent fur bearing residents - one three legged dog and seven cats. As to specifically saving them from the elements or abuse - two for sure. "Trouble" - I found Trouble pulling herself along a downed log at some rest stop in Colorado. I was driving a truck to California. She only had the use of her front legs. One of her rear legs, the bone was sticking out and the skin had started to heal around it. Took her to a vet in California. They wanted to off her. I said no way. Told em to patch her up and I flew her home. Our vet did what he could. She walked funny, but we had her for another 12 years. I still miss that damn cat. "Bernice" - We found her wondering around our area. She was emaciated and scarred. She absolutely would not come near me and would growl if I came too close. I figure an adult male had beaten her on a regular basis. Anyway we took her in. Eventually she adopted us and became such a good and protective friend. She lived with us for 17 years. The vet figured she was about 2 when we took her in. She had the honor of being the oldest licensed dog in my town for 3 years running. Much as I complain and whine about all the stupid pet tricks they pull, I do love the animals. They make me chuckle. Edit note - Damn if I didn't choke up thinking about and then writing about Trouble and Bernice.
