  • i think bleach takes the colour out permanently out of things with no return. sorry.
  • Depending on where the spot is - high traffic path or not, the size and color of your carpet, you might be able to cover it up by using a Sharpie permanent marker. I've used a Sharpie to make a bleach spot less obvious on jeans, black pants, black suede boots, red shirt sleeve, even to cover up a scratches on high heel shoes. Sometimes it fades when the clothes are washed, but I just color it back again. It's better than not wearing the clothes ever again! Remember using the Sharpie trick is permanent, so be sure the color is not too dark before you do it, or it will be worse! You could use a water based marker too, which will give you more color choices, but you might have to reapply it occasionally as it fades away over time. If using a color marker won't work for you, maybe you can move your furniture around to cover the spot, If that's not a go, then your only other choice is to replace your carpet. I hope this helps you! Good Luck!
  • Replace the bleach spots with extra carpeting if you have some. If not, you can borrow some from a closet. Cut out a square or shape to remove all the bleach stains, then take that to the closet and cut out an exact shape of the carpet. Swap them with carpet tape and an carpet iron. Make sure that if you have textured carpet (high-low or patterned that you cut the replacement from the exact same pattern area, this is easy to do with the sample in your hand.
  • Carpet dye sticks are for sell on line , see 5 min video at www.carpetdyesticks.com
  • There are color or dye sticks that will replace the color or you could try doing a small patch job on some types of carpeting. Usually it's more a case of how can you cover the are up because the color is gone or changed.
