They know all this cr*p and would have saved you all the trouble of going to court unprepared. The answer is almost certainly YES, IT'S TRUE because judges don't make it a habit of lying about the law in court. It undermines their credibility and authority, and they really have no need to do so any way.
  • Do you have a question? Of course you have to request documents/evidence before going to court. It is not the job of the opposing side to prove your case for you.
