I have a 3' tall cactus in a 5" +/- pot. Needless to say it is starting to tip over. I have read about transplanting. But can I plant it deeper in the bigger pot to give it more of an anchorl

    Don't plant it deeper. Instead, run a couple wooden dowels through it to give it a larger support base.
