A smaller park that is not nationally known that is in Pennsylvania called Knoebels Grove in Elysburg. It is a real authentic amusement park, not a “retro” imitation. It has one of the world’s best wooden roller coasters, “The Phoenix”, and as the name says, is located in a beautiful grove of hardwood trees. It is well worth the visit.
-

Kings Island in Cincinnati, or Cedar Point in Toledo. Ohio has the BEST amusement parks.
-
Magic Mountain. I had a blast their. They had more rollercoasters than any of the other amusement parks. The Callossess was fun, the ninja, the river ride in a big raft that fits about 12 people was fun. The parachute, the free fall ride I believe it's called I wouldn't get on. I have been to Disneyland, knott's berry farm, Universal Studios, Sea World, africa USA, and other water parks, plus the one in Illinios. But Magic Mountain is my favorite.

Typhoon Lagoon for water parks. Located in Florida. You can have private surf parties. Good for big and little kids. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/212429/disney_world_an_insiders_guide.html
-
Cedar Point is the best. I would choose it over Disney World any day!
-
Legoland. I'm not a fan of rides but I think it's amazing how they make tons of things out of just legos. I especially like their miniature town at night. I went there when I was like 7 years old and I've never forgotten it.
-

-

-
Vegas Baby!!!! SEEMS LIKE A THEME PARK
-
Bush Garden Tampa is great. Not as crowded as the other park. The lines are not as long. They have a nice train that rides you all around the park and a sky line that also rides you through the park up along the air. Lines are not as long as other parks and the rides are good.
-
God, it's been so long since I've been to a theme park... I'd love to go back to Cedar Point, though.
-
Quality experience -most modern, Cedar Point, Ohio. Best Feel - Old time park - Knoebel's Grove, Elysburg, Pennsylvania http://www.knoebels.com/

Dollywood! haha
-
Hershey Park I used to go there as a kid.
-
I've been to only a few theme parks in my day, but I would say my favorite would have to be Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. I went there a few times as a kid and then when I went back as an adult, it seemed to have gotten even better. I would love to take my son there, but being on the East Coast, I guess we will have to go to Disney World.
-
King Island in Cincinatti, Ohio.
-
King's Island
-
Whaletail Theme park.
-
I'm so thoroughly sick of theme parks. I yearn for the mom and pop amusement parks of a half-century ago. The old streetcar parks. The ones where you could ride out at 3:00, spend a couple of hours and feel like you got your money's worth, not the kind where you had to stand in line for 14 of the 15 hours you spent there, endure horrible sunburn, dehydration, aching back and sore feet to ride enough rides to feel like you got your money's worth.
-
I love Disney World for the magic and joy it brings to my family, first and foremost. BUT I also gotta have my coasters!!!
