pay it forward. the end is sad! wish the little boy didn't die. sucks.

well look for the ones that also have disappointing sequels... you might be on the right track *.*

Three that pop into mind are... -Unbreakable, seemed like the first part of a good movie, like there at least needed to be a sequel. -No Country For Old Men, loved it, but it didn't seem like anything was resolved at the finish. Sure it's a more realistic ending I guess, but I go to the movies to get away from reality. -There Will Be Blood, through the whole movie, they build up this gnarly tension like he's going to go off and blow up 1,000 people with dynamite or something. The end was violent, but... lacking EDIT: I forgot! Topping the list, I was really excited to see the sequel to Lost Boys when I saw the cast had so many returning members. Come to find out that it was very misleading. Two of them were only in alternate endings or post credits. It was a good movie starting out but the ending they did finish with kinda sucked and kept it from being what otherwise would have been a strong sequel.

Pan's Labyrinth
-
ALL of M. Knight Shamalan's movies after the one with Bruce Willis.
-
"Matrix: Revolution" Very disappointing after the way they ended the previous two.
-
The Return of the King. The ending went on for literally forty minutes. Not to mention the numerous sceenes that faded, making you think that it was going to cut to the credits.
-
The Stand. Both the movie and the book were pretty cool right up 'till the end. The end was such a cop out it was almost like Stephen King just suddenly got bored of writing and just terminated the whole mess.

Let's see: There was "The Ninth Gate" I didn't care for the ending. It left it too open. "They" is another one that left me hanging. "Jakob the Liar" You couldn't tell for certain whether the end was his imagination or what was supposed to have actually happened. I know there are more, but I am drawing a blank.

Nr.1: "Far and away" where Tom cruise pops back to life again. Horrible. Runner up: "It". There was absolutely no relation to what was happening in the novel.
-
The Green Mile. Everything else about the movie was great, but they should have left out everything pertaining to the guard as an old man. Such a sour note to end on.
